TRIBEspace will be the ultimate venue for all those who seek access to enlightenment education, vibrational cultivation and the reconnection to a communal mentality.

The TRIBEspace mission is to provide a serene, safe, and welcoming space where lovers of yoga and meditation, and those curious about reawakening their Higher Self, can come to take their self-care, self-healing, and knowledge-of-Self, further.

The studio aims to inspire spiritual rejuvenation and enlightenment, opening the doors to positive transformation – ultimately creating a calm and peaceful mind; an open and compassionate heart; and a strong feeling of self acceptance.

Jordana Ricketts

Jordana’s long career as a full-time personal trainer and fitness competitor for 12 years is evident in the intensity and technically sound programming of her HIIT and Power Yoga classes.  These classes challenge students physically but also mentally as you dig deep within yourself, to find the strength to complete the series, supported and encouraged by the energy of those around you simultaneously going through their own journey.  Jordana lives and exemplifies that true Balance in life comes from exposure to multiple modalities of physical practice, mental presence, and spiritual awareness.

Concurrent to her physical philosophies Jordana has a deep reverence for the traditional practices of Indigenous cultures from around the world and has tapped into her own connection to ancestors by spending time learning from many Indigenous Elders and Shaman from around the world in the past few years.  Her belief is that we have the capability to be our own healer, or personal shaman, and that the rituals and practices of the different lineages should be kept alive in this time of dissociation from the Self and lack of awareness of the past.  She believes that there can be a complete reconnection to our Higher Self which is like an all-knowing superhero that can guide us in every way in life, if we are able to truly and deeply tap-in, and see the connections that procide us the keeps to our Intended path.

Jordana’s hope is that she can provide the platform for people to reconnect within the TRIBEspace, to themselves, and others….re-establishing a Tribe, healing themselves to ultimately heal as a community.

Jennifer Doheney

Jennifer has always been a fitness lover, a yoga advocate, and keenly interested in nutrition. Her teacher training was rigorous and traditional, and she uses that solid foundation to guide knowledgably, but has modified the techniques to a modern and accommodating style for her students, complimented with a warm and beaming presence.

Jennifer is certified under Yoga Alliance and Svastha Yoga. She is continuing her education in Yoga Therapy, learning to bring traditional yoga, Ayurveda and elements of modern medicine together.

She owns a wellness company called WELLOGA that teaches workshops focused on stress and anxiety management; using Yoga Therapy as the backbone she helps people learn real-life takeaway tools so that they can enjoy more of life’s moments.

Jennifer changed her professional direction from retail planning to teaching yoga & meditation, after healing herself from a complicated battle with adrenal fatigue, hypothyroidism and celiac disease.

Since finding the magic in balancing her body, mind, and spirit through Yoga, Jenn’s goal is to share her knowledge with as many people as possible. She prides herself on giving her students options so they can enjoy the practice safely while also gaining self-awareness.

You’ll leave Jennifer’s class feeling calm and grounded, peaceful, and excited to experience her offerings again.


Ivano often says that yoga saved his life. As a former club promoter he was lost in an existence of crowds and late nights. Immersed in a lifestyle that was unfulfilling, he found himself searching for deeper meaning and purpose. On a whim he took a yoga class and felt something shift, an instant connection and he wanted more. 

As his interest in yoga took flight he discovered Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and his asana practice quickly evolved. He earned his Ashtanga Teacher Training Certification at Downward Dog Yoga Centre before traveling to Bali to study at Radiantly Alive yoga centre where he studied Vinyasa Yoga completing another teaching certification.
Ivano continues to learn and explore his practice and evolved his own variation called FreeLove Yoga Flow. His growing passion for the health sciences and healing arts of yoga and meditation has also led him to earn a certificate in the art of Qigong through the Chinese Health Qigong Association. 

Ivano believes that taking the first step onto the mat will ultimately transform the way you think, the way you treat yourself, the way you interact with others and the way you choose to live in the world. The discovery is all your own and the journey is worthwhile. He encourages people to step onto the mat and see what unfolds. 

Anand Ondhia

Anand has been happily engaged in the practice of yoga for the past 11 years, and began teaching yoga in 2013.

Using a flexible approach in applying the core principles of yoga to every student’s needs, he has taught many different styles, including Modo, Ashtanga, Chair Yoga, Restorative, Yin, and Flow. 

From his very first brushes with yoga, the art symbolized for him an immensely powerful tool for self-directed healing. He experienced first-hand the effectiveness of using simple yoga postures and refined breathing to relieve bodily pain, mental stress and erratic energy levels. Anand’s first formal education in yoga was the Advanced Modo Yoga Teacher Training, followed by an advanced training in Flow Yoga, taught by senior yoga teacher Bibi Rahim-Hahn.

As a current Master’s student of Osteopathy, Anand is highly skilled at integrating his knowledge of the body’s workings in his classes. Anand’s teaching style is also informed by explorations into many other arts and personal interests, including Buddhist teachings, Mindfulness Meditation, Floatation Therapy and Competitive Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.


As a 21 year old, Taj was out of touch, curious and confused. Her childhood and adolescent years left her with traumatic experiences that needed to be worked through. Led by a strong intuition that formed very early in life, Taj found her way to her first hot yoga class where she realized she didn’t know how to breathe. Her own body and she didn’t know how to use it, work with it or understand it. From that moment she saw yoga as the tool that could bring her back to life, help answer her questions and ultimately bring her back into connection with others, Self and Source.

Taj refers to herself as a forever learner. She completed her first certification – a Hatha & Vinyasa training – in 2013. The solid Hatha foundation gave her structure and knowledge while the fluidity of Vinyasa allowed her to tap back into her well of creativity. In 2018 she found her way to Vancouver to complete her Yin certification. Yin taught her more about her strengths and gifts showing her the deep rooted stillness that existed within. Most recently Taj completed her Goddess Flow certification that has aroused the divine feminine within.

Taj aims to stay in a natural state of flow by honouring her mind and body, and she takes great comfort in the many synchronicities that occur in daily life. It is her intention that each class leave you feeling reminded of your innate gifts, supported and connected. She vows to show up unapologetically herself, however that may look and encourages you trust the process and do the same.


Since 2009, Brittany has been an avid yoga practitioner. After practicing for many years, she completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2017. Since then, she has been teaching classes at various studios around the city. 

In addition to her 200 hour training, Brittany has completed training in Yin Yoga, Pre & Post-Natal, and has completed her Advanced Teacher Training. With over 300 hours of training under her belt, Brittany centres her own practice and her teaching around connecting movement to breath and cultivating a deeper awareness of one’s self. She believes everything we experience on the yoga mat can resonate deeply in our lives, if we are willing to listen. She strives to help her students find a larger purpose in their yoga practice, that goes far beyond the physical. 


Kelly has been practicing Asana for more than 20 years and more recently began to explore mediation, breathwork and plant medicine as tools to manage anxiety, increase confidence, and heal from trauma. Having recently completed 200 hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training, she brings a calming voice and energetic spirit to her classes with a focus on sharing the beauty of these ancient healing practices with the community. Outside the studio Kelly can be found continuing her yoga education studies, doing soul-healing work or dancing and playing with her friends and seven year old twin daughters. Her goal for students taking her class is to leave you feeling relaxed and energized. Kelly will be one of our community class instructors.


Michelle started her teaching career in group fitness classes and SPIN and spent several years in this area until she got her soul calling. It was in her very first sound bath that she heard a voice tell her to pursue her Yoga teacher training. At the time she didn’t realize it, but this sound bath was the catalyst to her spiritual path and soul mission. She went on to pursue her 200 HR YTT in Hatha and Vinyasa, in Bali, Indonesia. After coming home and continuing to teach fitness and SPIN and getting into teaching Vinyasa, she soon learned that her soul was calling for the complete opposite. Her journey for the first few years had been heavily rooted in the Yang energy and teaching styles and now her soul was clearly directing her to the more Yin styles of Yoga and teaching. Sound meditation had always been in the back of her mind from the very beginning and she knew that when the time was right, training for this would definitely manifest. 

As the Universe would have it, she moved slowly away from teaching fitness and SPIN and Vinyasa and went on to pursue her YTT in Restorative and Yin. She has taken over 100 hours of Sound Meditation training and several mentorship programs. Through her ongoing learning and growing in her own practice she has also co-developed moon ceremonies to help bring community together through exploration of astrology, manifesting, releasing and deeply restoring. 

Her soul mission in this lifetime is to help others connect to not only Spirit for guidance and direction but to guide others inwards for deep self reflection and healing so they can uncover their own truths. 

“It is my hope that in my classes and Sound Offerings you will find rest, rejuvenation, clarity, connection, release, freedom, ease, curiosity, magic, love and Soul Speak”.


TRIBEspace will take a different approach to the traditional yoga studio. In addition to Ashtanga, Restorative yoga, and HIIT classes, the specialty classes Shaman Yoga, and Yoga Ceremony will integrate Ritual, and basic Shamanic practices that I was blessed to have been taught through my travels and journeying.

Through my travels, studies, and burgeoning pursuit of knowledge in Traditional medicine, and self-healing practices, I have met and networked with International Shaman, Medicine Workers, Healers, Mediums, Guides, and Teachers from this field of learning, and multiple disciplines of Yoga and Meditation.

Many of these teachers have been invited to teach workshops and courses to Tribespace members and I feel blessed to provide a platform for these offerings that are not generally accessible in Toronto.
